PELLISSIPPI STATE TECHNICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE
ENTRANCE ASSESSMENT GUIDELINES AND DATES

Before testing:
- Submit college application and pay the $10.00 application fee.
- Submit official high school transcripts or GED diploma to Records.
- Submit ACT/SAT test scores if taken or make a testing appointment.
- Submit previous college transcripts.
- Make a test appointment--call (865) 694-6454 or (865) 694-6752 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.


Check for additional test dates and times by calling the Testing Center.
Bring a photo ID and two #2 pencils to the test session.
 

ASSET -- There is a $10.00 fee for the ASSET test. ASSET test takes about 2.5 hours.


ACT -- There is a $29.00 fee for the ACT test (effective November 2005). Pay the fee at the Cashiers office and pick up an ACT packet at the Cashier's office. Bring your completed packet and fee receipt to ACT test session. ACT test takes four hours. This ACT test is a residual ACT for Pellissippi State students only. The scores do not transfer to other schools. National test information is available at Admissions.
 

Test sessions with fewer than six appointments scheduled may be canceled.
